Bill Linnard
Bill is the descendant of a couple of clockmakers who worked in Swansea in the nineteenth century, and he has been a clock enthusiast for many years. He is an active member of the flourishing Wales & Marches Horological Society,
and was until recently the long-serving Chairman of that Society. He is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, and has published extensively in Clocks, the Horological Journal and Antiquarian Horology.
He has a special interest in Welsh clocks, and is the author of the standard work on the subject Wales: Clocks & Clockmakers (Mayfield Books, 2003).
